Eric Ten Hagg, Cristiano Ronaldo could regain his place at Manchester United

CARITA TODAY,
Eric Ten Hagg, Manchester United coach believes Cristiano Ronaldo can regain his place in the Manchester United first team. Portugal captain Ronaldo has been on the run since his new boss arrived at Old Trafford this summer. Ronaldo has had to sit on the bench in each of the Red Devils' last four games, all of which ended in ten wins for the Hag.

However, the 37-year-old striker could return to the starting line-up for the Europa League clash against Real Sociedad. When asked if Ronaldo was ready to start for the team on Thursday (9 August 2022), according to Marca, Ten Hag said: "He started against Brentford and he is ready to start here (against Real Sociedad)." he says.

The reporter kept asking. "Based on his age and your needs in the position, do you know if he can be a future centerpiece for most of the season?" asked the reporter. "Of course." Ten Hag replied.

The Ten Hags also praised young striker Marcus Rashford, who started six Premier League games scoring three goals in the process. The Dutch coach saw Rashford happy because he was improving at various levels of the game.

"We've been working hard with him in different ways over the last two and a half months and he loves it and he wants to move him in the middle and that's what you're seeing now.

It starts with happiness. He comes here every day, loves it and laughs a lot," said Ten Hag.
